Examples of projects I work on:

freeman transit Center -

“Among the $750 billion in transportation improvements featured in the plan are 215 projects specific to Ventura County designed to reduce travel delays, improve air quality and enhance the quality of life for a county expected to grow by nearly 30,000 people by 2050.

Included are upgrades to Harbor Boulevard ($130 million), a multimodal transportation center in Downtown Ventura ($50 million), adding road capacity in Pleasant Valley ($596 million) and the Green Port Locomotive Project ($500 million).”

First-of-a-kind special needs Vocational training center

Local nonprofits Industry Horror and Westside Community Development Corp. are forging forward on an upcoming development proposal to adaptively reuse the historic Avenue Elementary School as a vocational training facility specializing in special needs eduction. The project will also offer community benefits to the Westside residents, in addition to traditional vocational training.

A Conceptual Plan of the vision is included here for reference and was prepared by Jessica Baiza, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

City of ventura’s first pre-Approved ADU Catalogue

On behalf of the Westside Community Development Corporation and the City of Ventura, I am working on developing the City’s first ADU Catalogue and resource directory to support low-density affordable housing options within the community.

Check out my recent presentation to the Westside Community Council for more details on the goals and status of this program. Hint: my presentation starts around the 43:00-minute mark.
